Since then, I've booked tailored DBF Old Delhi tours for friends and family visiting from out of town, and they have always delivered incredible experiences (even last minute)! Here's what my sister in law had to say : "Visiting Delhi without going to Old Delhi district would be a shame. Thanks to Mehtab, we could discover multiple aspects : everyday life in the market, art and history with amazing hidden buildings, safe and savoury street food and more ! As he was born ans raised in Old Delhi, you can ask him any questions."

I was in Delhi on a work trip and decided to book a tour with Delhi by Foot on the recommendation of a local, who had heard great things about... read more them. I visited Old Delhi with Mehtab and truly enjoyed the experience, not only because of his knowledge about the history of the neighborhood, but also because of his willingness to answer every one of the million questions I had as we moved around the crowded streets and visited the most important sites. This, to me, is the meaning of a truly customized tour: we talked politics, religion, daily life in Delhi, and everything in between. Mehtab is unlike many tour guides in that he really is curious about the people he's taking around, and is very good at understanding what they want from the experience. The tour lasted 4.5 hours and was the best way to get to know not only the city, but also its people. I highly recommend Delhi by Foot.
