MuseoMay 2026

MuseoMay is Here!! Step Into Delhi’s Museums This May with DelhiByFoot!

Every year on 18th May, the world comes together to celebrate International Museum Day—a moment to recognise museums not just as repositories of objects, but as spaces of memory, dialogue, and discovery.

This year’s theme, as announced by the International Council of Museums, is “Museums Uniting a Divided World.”
It highlights how museums act as bridges, bringing people, cultures, and histories together, fostering dialogue, inclusion, and understanding in a time when the world often feels fragmented.

Museums don’t erase differences; they help us sit with them, learn from them, and find common ground through shared heritage and stories.

At DelhiByFoot, this idea has quietly shaped what we do.
Post-pandemic, every May, we’ve turned inward, into museums.
Partly to escape Delhi’s unforgiving summer, but more importantly, to rediscover how these spaces allow us to slow down, reflect, and reconnect; with history, with each other, and with the city itself.

And so, MuseoMay returns and we’ve lined up a series of curated weekend experiences across the city.
